The Lagunas de Montebello National Park, which can be visited along two roads

The park can be visited along two roads. If you are coming from Comitán, the one that goes straight ahead takes you to the Lagunas de Colores and stops at the Laguna Bosque Azul. The one on the right goes towards Tziscao passing other groups of lagoons, around which land and water activities are offered. Along this road you will find combis coming from Comitán; also motorbike taxi services to go from one lagoon to another.

A faire...en voiture ou taxi
Un bel endroit... plutôt pleins de petits et beaux endroits ! Si vous voulez vraiment en profiter, prenez un taxi à la journée, et parcourez TOUTE la zone !

Ce parc est impressionnant, car vous allez de lagune en lagune, de lac en lac, en profitant des paysages. La frontière guatémaltèque est marquée par un monument ainsi que par un fil tendu entre les berges du lac !
Une fresque marque également le site, point incontournable des selfies ;)
En passant côté guatémaltèque, une petite rue descend vers d'autres paysages, avec plein de petits magasins d'artisanat, où l'on trouve des produits divers et variés, aux couleurs du Guatemala
