ZIGLA KOULPÉLÉ HOST VILLAGE
The encampment created by TDS (Tourism and Solidarity Development) consists of 9 comfortable and well-kept round squares built in the local style. The principle of this new form of tourism is simple and relevant: reception within the villages and by the villagers themselves. It is a question of allowing the traveller to discover the daily lives of his inhabitants, thanks to a immersion within the village. Tourism income is distributed equitably for community development (vocational training, education, health…). In the case of Zigla, among other projects, there was a drill for the school and a tissue painting workshop (bogolan). The activities organized in the day allow for a real approach to the daily life of the villagers, and the evenings are animated by local artists. It is possible to spend a weekend or a few days in the village or stay longer.
