ROYAL REGALIA MUSEUM

This museum is an introduction to the opulence and rich traditions of the monarchy of Brunei, in place for six centuries. You will discover the abundance of gifts given to the Sultan by dignitaries from all over the world. But the most impressive are the two gigantic palanquins pushed with a man's arm during the coronation and the Silver Jubilee (25 years of reign) of His Majesty. Finally, the highlight of the visit is the miniature replica of the Royal Palace's reception hall, with its walls gilded with fine gold. It is mandatory to take your shoes off for the visit.
