Former capital of the Habsburgs, Ensisheim has one of the most beautiful architectural achievements of the Rhine in the 16th century: the Regency Palace, which houses a museum. Renovated in 2019, its museum tour allows visitors to discover the history of the city and its territory, from the Neolithic era to the mining industry of the 20th century, through the Habsburg era. Its renovation adds its share of technological innovations that refresh the visit: mapping, interactive window, 360° immersion... A really successful modernization!

Opening time and information on THE REGENCY MUSEUM
Open all year round. Low season: Mondays, Thursdays and Fridays, 2pm to 5:30pm; Wednesdays, 10am to 12pm and 2pm to 5:30pm. High season: Mondays and Wednesdays to Fridays, 10am to 12pm and 2pm to 5:30pm; weekends, 2pm to 5:30pm. From October to the end of April, open on the 1st and 3rd Saturdays of each month from 2pm to 5:30pm. Free for children under 18. Adults: €2. Guided tour (for groups on request).
