Bahía Negra is a small, isolated town 1,000 km from Asunción, shortly before the meeting of the three borders (Brazil-Bolivia-Paraguay), at the confluence of the Ríos Negros and Paraguay. It is a drop-off point to reach then, by lancha, the Los Tres Gigantes station, 40 km further north. In the village, there are a few budget guesthouses and small, poorly stocked restaurants. There's no ATM, so bring cash!
