PÊCHE (PESCA)

Dorado, surubí, pacú, boga, carimbatá, manguruyú, patí, pirá, pytâ... Fishing is open all year round, except from the beginning of November to the end of December, the breeding season (veda). The high season is just before, between September and October. The hotels have their own structures or contacts to organize fishing trips in the river. Count around 300 000 Gs for a lancha (for 2 to 3 fishermen), with the captain, but without the fuel (which can double the price depending on the duration of the trip). Most hotels offer equipment rental.
