Opposite the village square, in a beautifully restored "casa de indios", the museum contains 53 polychrome sculptures in six thematic rooms. These include statues by the maestro Giuseppe Brassanelli, who introduced modern sculpture at the end of the 17th century, with less symmetrical and more expressive features and more flexible and realistic forms. This museum is considered to be one of the richest in the country in this field.
