A stone's throw from the museum, in an old house facing the park, there is a grocery store-bar with high ceilings where you can enjoy empanadas or ice creams, and refresh yourself with a licuado (natural fruit juice mixed with milk). The premises are run by Professor Doña Cayetana Maidana de Maidana and her husband, a proud descendant of Aimé Bonpland. You will probably find this charming couple sitting in their sillas cables, in front of the house, sharing a terrace. Doña Cayetana will be able to inform you about the practicalities of the village.
