CASA DE RETIRO MARIANELA

Northeast of Atyra, Casa Marianela is a spiritual retreat center run by a community of the Holy Redeemer. Medieval architecture seems to be centuries old, but this vast construction only dates from 2008. The monastery offers hotel services with full board. A wonderful place for those who want peace and quiet. The meals are cooked with products from the vegetable garden. A simple visit is possible at certain hours, the opportunity to admire the frescoes by Nino Sotelo, an artist known for his works in the Basilica of Caacupé.
