ESTACIÓN DE FERROCARRIL
Railway station – Underground

The country's second railway station was built in Luque in 1861, under the presidency of Carlos Antonio Lopez, who brought in English engineers for its construction. The railway line then connected Luque to Asunción-Trinidad. After being abandoned for twenty years, it was completely restored in early 2020. It has become a pleasant place to visit, and building development projects should have come to fruition while you were there. The train station is 300 m from the Mcal López square. On the way, we will see beautiful colonial and neoclassical houses.
