This small mezzedopoleio is a gem not to be missed, for the authenticity of the place, the quality and freshness of the mezzes and the relaxed and friendly atmosphere. It is far from the touristy restaurants of the sea front, far also from the more trendy attempts of the city center. We come here in all simplicity to share dozens of small dishes, around a bottle of local ouzo. Everything is good but don't hesitate to choose the mezzes of the sea, speciality of the place: you will enjoy fresh mussels, fried fish or marinated octopus.

40 dakika bekledikten sonra iceri girebildik, kari koca isletmesi, esi yemekleri yapiyor kocasi garsonluk, balik, et veya mix seceneginiz var biz balik aldik yedigimiz hersey cok lezzetli idi, ama beklemeyi goze almaniz lazim. Biz memnun ayrildik.

Muhteşem lezzetler, mükkemmel ortam. Sıra beklemeyi göze alın. 16:00 da kapatıyor ama 15:00dan sonra kimseyi almıyorlar. Zaten şanslı olup oturan kolay kolay da kalkmıyor.

After we found that place by asking to locals we met with the owner called "Maria". She told us that all of the tables would be full at 13:30pm because of Mostra Festival & recommended us to come by 14:00pm to see if we can find a table. We did not choose to have lunch at the restaurants by seaside but come to this place and it totally WORTH IT!!! We had a fix menu of seafood (including 7 plates -octopus, kalkan(in Turkish),salads,mullet,etcc..with very good price- 31 Euro for 2 pax!! It was one of the most delicious meals we have ever had in Greek islands. The place is very cozy and only husband & wife( Maria) cook & serve this delicious foods. If you every come to Chios you should have lunch at Kechrimbari but you have too make reservation a day before (latest). Thank you for everything Maria, we really appreciated it:)
