Astra Airlines is an airline based in Chios Chora. Founded in 2008, it operates scheduled flights within the country, as well as charter flights for tour operators and special events. The company has a fleet of 4 aircraft, including BAe 146-300s, ATR 72-500s and ATR 42s. Astra Airlines also offers a frequent flyer program called ASTRA MILES. However, it is important to note that the airline has temporarily suspended all flights due to financial difficulties. Aegean Airlines has announced that it will be adding additional flights to serve destinations previously served by Astra Airlines.
