A unique garden, overlooked by the castle of Count Trauttmansdorff, in Merano.

Inaugurated in 2001, this unique garden is overlooked by the castle of the Count of Trauttmansdorff, where Empress Sissi stayed several times with her daughters! On a surface of 12 ha, the garden has more than 80 themed aromatic botanical islands, where flora from all over the world blooms in an artistic and educational way. The scents of roses and jasmine, lemon, orange and lavender can be detected by rubbing the leaves... Concerts in summer.

Un immanquable du tyrol italien, les jardins et chateau sont superbes. On y trouve aussi un très intéressant musée du tourisme. A faire !
Même en octobre,il y a des fleurs partout.
