The carnival is celebrated in memory of the 2002 attacks. It is the event not to be missed: music, dances, shows...

Kuta Karnival is an annual event inspired by the tragic Bali bombings of 2002, held on the beautiful beach of Kuta in southern Bali. Visitors can expect a variety of activities, including an opening ceremony with a kite festival, Balinese art exhibitions, outdoor film screenings, a food fair, sand sculpture competitions and DJ sessions. There are also surf and soccer competitions and a host of musical events.
