Perched at an altitude of 374 metres, the small station of Clervaux is very old: it was put into service in 1866. It is located on line 1 linking Luxembourg-City to Troisvierges-Border, between the stations of Drauffelt and Troisvierges. There is a car park (145 spaces) and a bicycle park (10 spaces).

It is the starting point of three so-called "station-to-station" hiking trails (Troisvierges-Clervaux; Clervaux-Munshausen-Drauffelt; and Clervaux-Drauffelt) and a cycle tour (Troisvierges-Clervaux).
