Take the road to Tioulit, north of Tafraout, for about 6 km to the village of Oumesnat. On the side of the road, you will see a sign that says "Traditional house". There, at the end of the village, you can visit a traditional Ameln house, with its stable, mills, attic, kitchen and rooms. For a few dirhams, you will be told how the Ameln people lived until a few years ago. On the terrace of the house, while enjoying a superb view, ask your host about the position of the slates on the terrace and the pots on the roof of the houses.
