MUSEO REGIONAL DE MAGALLANES

The museum is located in the beautiful building of the cultural centre Braun-Menendez, former residence of Mauricio Braun, married with Josefina Menéndez Behety, daughter of businessman Jose Menendez. This marriage had brought together the two largest fortunes in the Magellan region. There are archaeological ruins of the city of Punta Arenas. A room recounts the history of colonization in the region.
