Two ways to win Tierra del Fuego from Punta Arenas: by boat directly for Porvenir, in the Chilean part of the island; or via Punta Delgada (on the route of Río Gallegos in Argentina) to cross the little strait in about minutes towards Bahía Azul, before proceeding to Cerro Sombrero.

For Puerto Williams, TAB offers a weekly trip with a new comfortable ferry (a nice opportunity to visit the patagons fjords, especially the famous «Avenue des Glaciers» of the Beagle Canal, without too much ruin).
