Kitulgala Adventures offers several types of runs on the Kelani River, famous for the fact that the movie Bridge on the River Kwai was filmed there. The Kelani River has 5 major and 4 minor rapids. Two runs are available: 5 km, for all, and 8 km, for non-beginners. The equipment (rafts and safety equipment) is in perfect condition and the descents are preceded by a briefing by the instructor.
