THE PLANTATION HOTEL

Here, one can quietly sip a drink on the banks of the river (Kelani River) which was used as a setting for David Lean's famous film, The Bridge on the River Kwai. The 11 air-conditioned rooms are nice, well kept and the wood-brick setting is quite nice. Nice swimming pool and good restaurant at home. The owners also display their superb private collection of vintage cars. An ideal place for romantics, or simply for those who like to relax in a restful atmosphere.
