Pyramid built on an elevated site, from where one has the best view of the whole of Teotihuacan
Located at the northern end of the Calzada, the best view of Teotihuacan is from the top of the Pyramid of the Moon, which is equal in height to the Pyramid of the Sun because it is built on a higher site. On its western side is the residential complex Quetzalpapálotl. It is, after the Pyramid of the Sun, the largest building in Teotihuacan. It took seven construction phases, between 100 and 450 BC, to obtain the present pyramid, which is the result of the superposition of several monuments.

Très belle pyramide de la lune
Autre pyramide belle et imposante, la Pyramide de la Lune mérite également la découverte. A noter que venant par le chemin des morts, l’escalier permettant d’accéder au site de la pyramide de la lune, en contrebas, est extrêmement pentu.

Cette pyramide a été bâtie en 7 étapes successives et fut terminée vers 300 après JC.L'apogée du site est évalué entre 150 et 450 et au pied de cet édifice de nombreux plateformes évoquent des temples ou des autels.Pendant de la pyramide du Soleil.
