This elegant Sufi place of worship (Teqja e Sheh Eminit, Šeh Eminova tekija) was built in 1730 by Sheikh Emin, who was a Sunni imam, Sufi master (sheikh), judge (kadi), and architect who was responsible for many of the buildings in the city. Destroyed in 1999, it was rebuilt more or less identically in the 2000s with its white exterior walls, tiled roof and ceilings with carved wooden decoration. Belonging to the Sadi brotherhood, which claims to be Shiite, the tekké is now under threat from Sunni extremists.
