CHURCH OF THE HOLY TRINITY

This downtown church was built in 1902. According to some documents, an innkeeper named Kuršumlija initiated its construction and raised funds so that the city center would have its own place of prayer. This church is very different from the other churches in the region with its oriental and monumental architecture, which also marks a clear stop of the Turkish influence. The pride of the locality, the church was repainted in 2000 and the iconostasis completed in 2002.
