Travel Guide Đurđevi Stupovi (Ђурђеви Cтупови)

Ðurđevi Stupovi is a monastery whose restoration has been taken seriously. It is one of the survivors, ultimately quite rare, of the golden age of the kingdom of Serbia, while it was founded by Stefan Nemanjić himself. Installed in full view, dominating the landscape at the top of a small hill, and surrounded by a charming little wood, its medieval aspect gives it an indisputable cachet, ideal for photographs. A small plus in this approach, from the top of the hill, a magnificent view extends also on all the valley and the city of Novi Pazar, in the distance.
