RISOVAČA CAVE

It is fortunate that Risovača Cave is open to visitors, even only for a length of 150 m. Indeed, this cave is significant for its archaeological and paleontological findings: it is here that the best-preserved evidence of the Paleolithic culture has been unearthed: fossils, arrowheads, steles. These discoveries are preserved in the National Museum in Arandjelovac (also open daily from 9am to 5pm) but the visit to the cave offers some (poorly) reconstructed scenes of what was discovered there.
