ZIVANOVIC, HONEY MUSEUM AND WINE CELLAR

Established in 1968, the Živanović Museum preserves the history and techniques of beekeeping and viticulture in the region (its two great specialties). It is one of the oldest wineries in the region, dating back to the 18th century: ausbrucha wine was, it is said, served on board the Titanic. The guided tour (in English) combined with the honey museum including the tasting of seven to nine wines, the visit of the three hundred year old cellar, is really worth the detour.
