The village of Dimoli lies on the outskirts of the Kadéï Gorge, after Dourgo. For a long time these gorges have been the theatre of strange and unexplained phenomena: Watches are locked alone, radio stations suddenly stop functioning (maybe a magnetic field?). At the level of the main gorge, lies the Ngoukou cave (praticable on 500 m), the name of a courageous warrior who resisted German settlers at the head of his own army.According to legend, it was not necessary to jump between the two rocks of the gorge, although deep, but wide by barely one metre, because then it opened more widely. Many German soldiers reportedly disappeared by trying to cross it. Moreover, remnants of their arsenal as well as colonial houses in ruins are still visible. Many caves in the region are decorated with cave paintings. For guides, contact the descendants of Ngoukou, who still live in Dimoli.
