DRUK WANGYEL TSCHECHU

To change the spiritual atmosphere of the tschechus, here is a festival animated not by monks or laymen but by the royal army of Bhutan. The Druk Wangyel Tshechu pays tribute to the wise leadership of His Majesty Jigme Singye Wangchuck, the fourth king of Bhutan. A somewhat propagandistic but impressive event that celebrates the efforts of the Royal Army of Bhutan to protect the sovereignty and stability of the country. A unique event against the backdrop of the magnificent Himalayan mountain range.
