To send a parcel abroad, you must go to a building located north of the main post. Each package is packed and stamped locally. The Nepalese bureaucracy is creating patience! It will take you at least one hour to get to the end, go early. You can choose between a shipping by the sea (45 days) or by the air (15 days). Avoid opting for the seaway if you are in a hurry, since your package will have to reach Calcutta by road before loading onto a cargo ship.
