The green belt is the rice fields, the squares of gardening and the palm trees surrounding the capital. For a person living in Bissau a few days and wishing to see the bush and typical Guinean villages, this little-known walk is highly recommended. It is done by car during the dry season, a 4 x 4 is recommended during the rainy season. The journey takes about 2 hours. From Bissau, take the motorway leading to the airport (aeroporto). After the Hotti Hotel, stop at the branch line indicated by a "Stenaks" panel on the left. Take the right track. Then, just follow the path set. The direction to be taken is not, of course, reported, but the track rarely splits, except in villages. In case of doubt, always turn right.Along the route you will pass through rice fields, cashew plantations and bathing areas. Then you take on the port (port), at an access ramp to the sea where smugglers operate and where some canoes leave. On this ramp is a charcoal market.
