Restaurant opposite the hospital offering hearty, fragrant and spicy dishes.

This restaurant, opposite the hospital, has a very special local cachet, even if it doesn't look like much from the outside. The dishes are hearty, fragrant and spicy: pork colombo, shrimps, steaks, but also game depending on the hunt (pac, armadillo, wood pig, agouti). Everything is tasty and can be accompanied by a ti-punch (in this case, the bottle of rum is brought to you so you can judge the right dose). The welcome is friendly and family-oriented. A very good address in Saint-Laurent for an authentic Creole culinary experience.

Un super petit resto facile à trouver, face à l'hôpital, où l'on mange de la viande locale en toute simplicité. Original, pas cher et succulent.

Without unpretentious but warm, this restaurant serves creole specialities based on game. Perfect for discovering the local cuisine but less if you wish to consume vegetables, a salad, or if you are vegetarian. The food is good without being exceptional, the prices are reasonable for French Guiana. I would recommend considering little choice of restaurants in Saint Laurent, or for game lovers.
