With a bar on the ground floor and a restaurant upstairs, Retro is one of the city's good restaurants, serving European cuisine and pizzas. You can eat à la carte or from the menu. The choice is quite varied. For example, you can enjoy mussels and chips, a good cuckoo or a delicious tournedos Rossini. There are also a few bushmeats on the menu, depending on the availability, such as wild boar or boa. You can also come and have a drink as an aperitif, accompanied by some tapas. The welcome is warm and the atmosphere friendly.

Le Retro etait traditionellement le restaurant ou l' in dustrie petroliere se retrouvait pour dejeuner; j y suis retourne ce mois de Fevrier pour dejeuner et le restaurant etait vide : nous etions les deux seules personnes a dejeuner. La qualite de la nourriture est correct sans etre extraordinaire mais cela reste relativement cher. La raison de cett chute d activite est la crise petroliere qui sevit actuellement au Gabon.
