South of Oyem, a small town of about 3,000 inhabitants located on the National Road 2. It lives exclusively from the cultivation of rubber trees, whose plantations extend over nearly 5,000 hectares. The town is known for having hosted in February 1947 the first international summit that brought together all the Fang of Central Africa, particularly from Gabon, Cameroon and Equatorial Guinea, with the aim of opposing the European occupation and discussing the conditions of their settlement in this region bordering several countries. Located about 9 hours from Libreville by bush taxi, it is not particularly interesting.
