SANDPIT BEACH

For some time now, you can no longer cross the bridge at Sablière, but you can continue on foot along the beach. Before you get there, small maquis offer kebabs and drinks during the weekend with access to a relatively clean beach. It is frequented by wealthy Gabonese families who come to bask in the weekend. Further on, when the beach moves away from the houses, be more careful, tourists have already been attacked there a few years ago. Also, do not take with you any valuables, jewellery or too much money.
