Waterfalls in Ratanakiri with a beautiful spectacle in the rainy season, including Okatieng for a swim and the impressive Cha Ong
Ratanakiri is known for its numerous waterfalls, offering especially in rainy season an impressive spectacle. Among the notable waterfalls in the vicinity, one can visit Okatieng. At 10 km south west, and of a rather wild approach, it forms a stone circus in the middle of the dense vegetation. Very nice swimming in perspective. Cha Ong, 9 km to the northwest, is the most impressive of the region, with a twenty meters overhang. No swimming possible.
