TEDDY BEAR HOST VILLAGE (TDS)
A comfortable and comfortable camp by Robert, built in the Gourounsi style. The principle of this new form of tourism is simple and relevant: reception within the villages and by the villagers themselves. It is a question of allowing the traveller to discover the daily lives of his inhabitants, thanks to a immersion within the village. Tourism income is distributed equitably for the development of the community. In the case of Doudou, the revenues have already been used in several projects, such as the construction of a literacy centre, three boreholes and the establishment of a shelter for a collective mil mill. Activities organised in the day (shopping, pottery, agricultural works, sculpture…) allow for a real approach to the daily lives of the villagers. In the evening, the animations conducted by local artists are remarkable (dances to which a good part of the village takes part, traditional storytelling evenings, exchanges around marriage, funerals…). It is possible to spend a weekend or a few days in the village or stay longer. Bar and handicraft shop also.
