The traditional Leadership Leadership (Mossi) retained its palace in Kokologho. It is located about 1 kilometres from Ouagadougou, on the RN towards Bobo-Dioulasso, between the sites of Bazoulé and Sabou, before the crossroads with the road of Koudougou. Until 2011, it was possible to visit a part of the palace and learn more about traditional power still influential in Burkina Faso, but the palace is now closed following political and family problems that led to the death of the king and the one who could succeed him, his brother.
