Museum presenting an exhibition dedicated to the history of the European mining industry with the tools of the miners

To familiarize the public with the hard work of coal mining, the economic engine of the region, the museum presents a life-size reconstruction of a mine and miners' tools. A mine elevator takes you down 600 metres underground to cover almost 1,000 metres. An exhibition that traces the history of the European mining industry, from the age of steam to the height of industrialisation in Asturias.
