Museum in the old North Station with an important railway collection from Spain
The museum is located in the former North Station(estación del Norte) of Gijón. With more than 3,000 pieces, it gathers one of the most important railway collections in Spain. Through all kinds of objects related to the works (lanterns, tools, telephones...), steam locomotives and various wagons, it retraces part of the industrial history of the country where the railway played an important role. Also a space of temporary exhibitions. Beautiful discoveries!

A small museum particularly suitable to spend the day in family, because it is next to Playa de Poniente (ideal for children, because it does not have waves). In the museum you can see difertentes machines railroad.
