Francis Paniego, owner of the Portal de Echaurren Restaurant, leads this gourmet restaurant (1 Michelin star). Awarded by the national gastronomy prize in 2012, the young chef from La Rioja offers an inventive and close cuisine, in the sumptuous décor offered by the Hotel Tagged de Riscal, the avant-garde building imagined by Frank Gehry. The wines naturally hold a place of choice throughout the gastronomic experience.

Expérience gastronomique très sympathique. Demandez une table avec la vue. Menu très très copieux qui pourrait être allégé de quelques éléments traditionnels sans grand intérêt, comme les croquetas. Demandez un accord mets et vins sinon choisissez une bouteille à votre goût. Les conseils des sommeliers du restaurant sont peu pertinents, ils ont tendance à vous proposer des vins le plus haut de gamme sans cohérence avec le menu.

Bel endroit, en extérieur sous les arbres. Viandes grillées au barbecue. Les plats bien faits quoique un peu justes en quantité. Vin de Marqués de Riscal à des prix intéressants.

Nous avons passé un très bon moment dans ce restaurant gastronomique. Le personnel est très accueillant, la nourriture excellente. Nous avons pris le menu en 6 plats à 110€ et c est largement suffisant. À faire sans hésiter.
