ARCHAEOLOGICAL COMPLEX OF SANTA MARIA LA REAL

The monumental archaeological complex of Santa María la Real consists of the 15th-century Torre-Campanario (bell tower), which houses the Zarautz Museum of Art and History, and the parish church of Santa María la Real, where several beautiful Baroque altarpieces stand out. Glass canopies on the ground reveal the remains of earlier constructions and the tombs of a necropolis.
