MUSEO MARÍTIMO VASCO

Housed in the old "Casa del Consulado" built around the 18th century, this museum retraces several centuries of Basque naval history. It's an opportunity to learn a little more about the passionate relationship between the Basque people and the sea! Among the 6,000 pieces that make up its permanent collection, you will notice, for example, a replica of a whaleboat, a 1950 compass cabin and other navigational instruments and models. The museum also regularly hosts temporary exhibitions on the maritime theme.
