EPIPHANY MONASTERY

The former Women's Convent of the Epiphany, dedicated to the Christian holiday of the same name, is a complex consisting of three churches:

Church of Our Lady of Smolensk (Smolenskoi bogomateri). This church with golden domes, very dilapidated, was built by the famous Russian architect Ton.

St. Theodore's Church (Fedorovskaya). It was built in 1805-1811 in the classical style.

Cathedral of the Epiphany (Bogoyavlenski). Built between 1843 and 1853, its imposing architecture resembles the buildings of the architect Ton in a Russian-Byzantine style.
