VOLGA REGION RAILWAY MUSEUM

Relatively off-centre, the Museum of Railways and Railway Technology is still worth an afternoon's visit. It is in the open air, and it is the occasion for a very pleasant walk in the summer, which will delight children and amateurs alike. Here you can visit former locomotives of the RJD (Russian Railways) and the former Dashnovo railway station, which have been converted into exhibition halls presenting the history of railway construction in the region.
