The old village of Pavlovo is located northwest of Borissoglebski. To get there, you pass one of the most important Finno-Ugric archaeological remains, the site of the town of Akulovo (4th-7th century), a rare mark of this forgotten people, which we recommend you visit on the way. Pavlovo itself is one of the oldest villages of the region, hidden as it is by a luxuriant nature. There, you will find houses organized as if they were monasteries, with the remarkable Tikhvinskaya church, built in 1774, at its center. The visit reveals a deep sense of the religious character of its inhabitants.
