MARINE WORLD

This large aquarium, renovated in 2016, is located on the peninsula facing Fukuoka, next to Uminonakamichi Park. There are fish and other sea creatures such as jellyfish, corals, rays, cuttlefish, but also dolphins, otters, sea lions and penguins. The staging is impressive, with ecosystems reproduced on a small scale and a huge aquarium several meters high containing a dozen sharks. Performances take place several times a day, including a dolphin show.
