This restaurant is the best place to try one of Matsuyama's specialties, goshiki sōmen (five-colored noodles), eaten since the Edo era. The five colors made by kneading barley, matcha green tea,ume (Japanese apricot) and tangerine, are most pretty to look at. It is the typical dish that is first appreciated with the eyes. These noodles are also considered a gift to bring back after a trip to Matsuyama. The restaurant's decoration is traditional and the atmosphere is friendly.
