Southeast of Kōchi, Cape Muroto is notable for its beautiful rock formations along the coast, shaped over thousands of years. The site is truly beautiful, oscillating between black sand and rocks. The coastline is very indented and appears, when the weather is good, to be one of the wildest places. This cape also offers travellers the opportunity to walk a circuit to the tip of the cape for a little over a kilometre. The site is renowned among tourists for its fauna (dolphins...) and flora (subtropical flowers...). As for the waves, it is not for nothing that surfers call this place Little Hawaii.
