Tsurugata is a beautiful 13-room ryokan that takes place in one of the 250-year-old warehouses along the canal. It was the residence of a rich merchant family, built in 1774. The interior, with its old pillars and wooden floors, preserves the unique and warm atmosphere of Japanese architecture. It is a real journey back in time. The rooms offer a charming and relaxing setting, as does the onsen. The cuisine is delicate and refined. An excellent address.

Nous avions réservé le logement de 19 tatamis (environs 40m²). Confort extrême, logement 3 façades entouré d'un magnifique jardin dans le plus pur style japonais. Service impeccable. Repas gastronomique servi dans le logement par des dames d'une extrême gentillesse. Cuisine très raffinée.
Le Ryokan est situé le long d'un des canaux dans la charmante petite ville à l'architecture traditionnelle de Kurashiki.
Le Japon tel qu'on le rêve ...
