TSURUGA MATSURI

This festival is linked to the Kehi Jingu Shrine in Tsuruga City, Fukui. Mikoshi and floats parade through the streets to the delight of locals and tourists alike. The town is in a state of jubilation and spectators can also enjoy a carnival parade and folk dance performances. The atmosphere is such that everyone can participate in the festivities and take part in the different rituals of this matsuri. The night dance parade promises a pleasant moment. In the streets, many food stalls decorate the whole.
